Booking Fees
Booking fees are nonrefundable and apply toward the final cost of your tattoo. This fee reserves your appointment in my calendar and covers the time required to draw your design and set up for your tattoo. For large-scale pieces that require multiple sessions to complete, your booking fee will apply toward the cost of the final session. There are no refunds for booking fees, even if you cancel your appointment. I understand that life happens sometimes, but I collect these fees to ensure I am still compensated for the effort and time I put in to prepare for your service.

Rescheduling
If you can no longer make it to your original appointment time, please contact me as soon as possible. All reschedule requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance or you will have to pay a new booking fee to rebook. Reschedules are limited to a maximum of 2 times (unless initiated by me), after which point a new booking fee will be required to rebook.
DECEMBER + JANUARY APPOINTMENTS: All reschedule requests must be made at least one week in advance or you will need to pay a new booking fee to rebook.

Last Minute Design Changes
I do not show custom designs until you arrive for your appointment. Please remember to be as clear as possible when describing what you want your tattoo design to look like. I am happy to make minor adjustments (30 min or less of edits) to your design to better fit your anatomy and creative vision at the start of your appointment. However, making major last minute changes— such as asking for an entirely new concept than what was agreed upon— will add an additional cost to your tattoo and may require your appointment to be rescheduled to give me time to redraw your piece.

Tardiness/No-showing
Please let me know ASAP if you are running late by calling the shop at 316-260-1731. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you will forfeit your booking fee and your appointment may need to be rescheduled. If you do not show up to your appointment, you will forfeit your booking fee and you may be asked to pay a higher portion of the total estimated cost to rebook. If you fail to show up for your appointment more than once or are late multiple times you may not be permitted to rebook in the future.

Numbing Cream
Unless I give prior approval, I will not tattoo skin that has had numbing products applied to it. If not used properly, numbing cream can cause various side effects such as respiratory/cardiac distress, seizures, allergic skin reactions, or issues with tattoo application and healing which can compromise the quality of your tattoo. If you use numbing cream without discussing it with me first you will forfeit your booking fee and your appointment will need to be rescheduled for another day.

Skin Conditions or Injuries
If you arrive with a sunburn, rash, razor burn, cuts/scrapes, active eczema/psoriasis flare up or other injury/skin condition affecting the area to be tattooed, you will lose your booking fee and will be asked to reschedule for another date, as these can cause significant issues with the tattooing and healing process.

Inappropriate Behavior
Rudeness, disrespect, or harassment of any kind towards myself or any other employee or guest at Addictions in Ink will not be tolerated. The tattooing process can be a vulnerable and sensitive experience so please be mindful of your volume, tone, and choice of words when you are in this space, and tell any guests you invite to join you at your appointment to do the same. If you or your guests fail to follow this policy you may be asked to leave and/or have your appointment cancelled.
Do not submit payment until I have responded to your booking request and given you options for scheduling.
